continue working on iSecretGifter...

So far, we got the flowchart done. Now, we have to work on creating the interfaces for the application. We use GWT to create the UI for the game. It's a matter of adding a dropping the object(table, widget etc.). One cool thing about gwt is that it add most of the codes for you when you create the interface. It make programming so much easier..

collision for the tank game...

As we continue working on the tank game, we encounter some difficulty with the collision sprite. The purpose of the part is when the bullet hit the target, it will make them disappear. We are still trying to figure out how to do the coding for this collision sprite.

Developing User Guide for Tank Game

The user guide  provides the user with instructions for playing the game. In the user guide, there are three parts: introduction which contains a brief introduction about the game, game setting which contains the available custom setting for the game, and gameplay which has the instruction on how to play the game.

iSecretGifter

in class, we work together on the Secret Santa game using gwt: eclipse. Very interesting, i can tell you that much. this is the first project we have on gwt. It's like VB program. User interface is basically the same for me. But this is something new for me, so it's kind of nice.

reading chapter 2

Chapter 2 is about creating the window chat sign in. it was really, well, not too very interesting to me. It's like 45 pages long or more. It got some good information on there, but just that it's a long chapter.

Continues working on the game...

So far, we got all the basic canvas and the sprite done. But, i don't think we are progressing as we should be. There are still problems that we encounters. Hopefully, my group will be able to finish our game on time.
So, my group and i will try to work on it. Hopefully it will be competed the way we want it to be.

google web toolkit reading...

I went over the book last week. The chapter is on how to program "hang man" game. It was interesting chapter because they actually show clearly the logic and they way how they program it. I definitely learned something form the reading. Hopefully the rest of the chapter will be just like this chapter.

Game-Discussion

OK, I am down with Kai's idea. If no one opposed to that, it would be our topic for the presentation.
I installed Java Me  and the Eclipse today. Quite easy to configure, just follow instruction. It took me 1h30m. Just the downloading is took most of the time.
